So joyous was My dolly Steffi for the opportunity to gift Me the beautiful Aurora Borealis Cinderella High Heels from My Private & Exclusive Wishlist, that My ditzy dolly begged PLEASE to be allowed to pay for a custom made bespoke dress to be designed for Me by My seamstress to match My pretty shoes.
This was such a cute idea because, as it turns out, I have a few custom bespoke gown and dress ideas I have been contemplating having designed for Me, which I shared with My lucky little dolly!
As you may remember, I previously attended the Julien’s Estate Auction of The Personal Property From The Life And Career of Mae West and bid on precious items to add to My Collection which select of My piggybanks were allowed the opportunity to pay for.
The items being auctioned included several of Mae West’s personally owned silk gowns which I absolutely adored. However due to the passing of time they have become too fragile to wear, so rather than bidding on these gowns, I chose other items such as her jewelry to bid and win, and saved photos of the gowns I adored to have re-created for Me by My seamstress at a later date.
You can glimpse the gowns of Mae West which I adore in the photos above. The first in ivory silk with flutter cap sleeves, the second in Goddess of Olympia style with gathered shoulders and empire silhouette and the third in peach silk with spaghetti straps. SO Divine!
Another dream dress I would love to have re-created for Me is the form-fitting white silk spaghetti-strap dress which Marilyn Monroe wore to the famed press party to announce the formation of Marilyn Monroe Productions. This beautiful white silk dress was designed for Marilyn Monroe by Norman Norell. Marilyn wore this iconic dress with a White Mink coat, long white opera gloves and white stockings. This evening was a very special moment in her life, as she formed her very own production company with her VP, business partner and friend Milton Greene and announced it to the world!
I would also like a dress similar to this, but in ivory silk velvet (very hard to find but I won’t settle for anything less than silk velvet) with a double V neckline, front and back (this style is so gorgeous on Me), and instead of the full length, I would like it form-fitted at the waist and contoured to the knee.
I’ve started searching for the perfect silk for My Marilyn dress, My idea is to have it designed for Me in White Gold. How absolutely stunning will that be?! I found the perfect shade of charmeuse silk, which is so soft and glossy. This is a stretch silk so it will contour My curves to perfection!
With all of this silk gown planning (which of course even the exquisite material alone is very costly), My dolly Steffi’s current Grand Total Tally is now $6,825 spent ALL on ME!! Fortunately for My dolly Steffi she just found a new job, because with My dolly’s weakness for dresses, gowns and formal attire, and with My long list of custom bespoke gowns I want made for Me, My dolly is SO going to NEED it!
Like omg dolly Steffi, you KNOW you can’t resist! Bow before Me, the Goddess of Olympia, in total SUBLIMATION! Only this, Only Me, Only Now exists. Surrender to heavenly BLISS.
